MedStar St. Mary's Hospital offers phlebotomy services at various locations. Patients must register for all scheduled appointments. Walk-ins are accepted for general blood testing. An appointment will be required for glucose tolerance tests, semen analysis, and DNA testing. The last specimen collection is performed 15 minutes prior to closing at each site.
Not all insurances are accepted at the hospital laboratory center. Patients are encouraged to visit the satellite centers at the Belmont Building in Leonardtown and the Chesapeake Charter School in Lexington Park.
NOTE: The laboratory services in Charlotte Hall and MedStar St. Mary's Outpatient Pavilion have now been relocated.
