Angiography Suite
MedStar St. Mary's Hospital's new state-of-the-art angiography suite allows endovascular procedures to be performed on-site. These include angiography, angioplasty, atherectomy, stenting, stent grafting, vein ablation, and insertion of venous inferior cava filters. Conventional surgeries may include aortic aneurysm repair, vein stripping for varicose veins, creation of arterial fistula or graft for dialysis, lower extremity bypass, and the insertion of a venous access device for chemotherapy or dialysis.
