Connected to a Wealth of Research Trials

By working together with other cancer research facilities, our team is able to make national clinical trials available to local residents without requiring them to travel long distances. Under the auspices of the MedStar Washington Hospital Center Institutional Review Board, MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital offers the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), pharmaceutical studies and MedStar Washington Hospital Center clinical trials for all eligible and consenting participants. We also offer clinical trials through MedStar Franklin Square Hospital, with approval from the Institutional Review Board of MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
