When you come to MedStar St. Mary's Hospital for health care, your energy is focused on getting better. But sometimes you need someone to talk to, someone who can create a bridge between you, the patient, and members of the healthcare team.
That's where our staff comes in. All of our friendly hospital associates are here to give patients and their families the chance to talk about their experiences with us. If you would prefer not to speak with staff involved in your care, however, we have patient advocates who can make your stay more comfortable, assist your family and make sure your feedback is channeled to the right people in the hospital.
If you have a concern or need someone to talk to, ask the nearest associate to help you or to contact a patient advocate for you. You may also call the operator at 301-475-8981 and ask to speak with a patient care supervisor, or call our patient advocate at 301-866-7281 with any concerns, complaints, or suggestions.
