Leonardtown, Maryland – MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital is relocating weekend outpatient laboratory services from the Outpatient Pavilion to the main hospital beginning July 2.
Currently, laboratory services are offered on Saturdays, from 7 a.m. to noon, in the Outpatient Pavilion. Beginning in July, only the Saturday location where lab work is available will change. The hours of operation will stay the same, as well as the weekday operating schedule.
Patients who need blood drawn or other lab work on Saturdays are asked to register at the patient access area located behind the visitor information desk at the main entrance to the hospital. After registration is completed, a phlebotomist will fulfill the lab request.
For more information, call the Laboratory at 301-475-6139
